FLYNNDEMONIUM

An incredible fifty thousand people, with stars in their eyes, turned out around Australia to try their luck on Australian Idol. Many were exceptionally talented; many more gave new meaning to the term ‘tone deaf.’ Some of the wannabes must have sustained a bump to the head (we can’t think of any other way to explain the fact that they thought they could be the next Australian Idol).
Throughout the whole process, what becomes very clear is just how difficult it is to determine who will become a star; who will make that connection with the Australian public. It's not always the person with the best voice; it's not always the best looking or the most experienced. The 'X Factor' is the term often used to define something so indefinable.

And so it is with Flynn…

Flynn is a 19 year old we met in the first episode, who performed Michael Jackson's "Beat It." Flynn is originally from China and has been in Australia for a year and a half. He couldn't possibly have envisaged the impact he would make in his new home within such a short space of time.

Flynn's audition was energetic and highly choreographed. It was clear he'd put in some rehearsal time before his big moment in front of the judges, and Australia. Flynn invested 100% of his heart and soul into his performance and perhaps this goes some way to explaining what can only be described as Flynndemonium!

Despite enjoying his performance immensely, Flynn's style wasn't quite what the judges were looking for as the next Australian Idol. But that hasn't stopped Flynn. Australia wants more of Flynn and his star has been in the ascendant ever since.

The Press Junket...

Flynn is going to need a very large box to store his growing press file, which already includes interviews with NW magazine, FOX FM Melbourne, Merrick and Rosso on Nova and WHO magazine. In a radio interview on the popular Kyle and Jackie O show, on the Austereo Network, Flynn told Kyle and Jackie O that he loved to sing every day and one of the things he loves about Australia is the friendly people.

It looks like it's quickly developing into a mutual love affair, Flynn!

Well at least he doesn't look half as bad as William Hung....

But maybe it's because I'm not used to Australian English, but damn his English is painful......

我很喜欢你唱的歌,但这个世界并不像你的歌声那样温柔。
