Yes I do, and it vexes me. I have been trying to shed my cantonese accent for years, but I just couldn't. Are there people who are able to totally speak with a native accent?(English, Australian, American, Canadian, or what have you)

but it's somthing you couldn't help, so........
think about something you own because you have an accent
at least you read chinese

As long as you can make yourself understood by others, having accent shouldn't bother you too much. Of course you can try to get rid of it by talking with native speakers a lot.

of course not. However, native americans can understand what I am talking about.
I really don't think that learning their accent is very important. We can still communicate with each other.

In USA, people from different parts have different accents also, so do not worry that much about your accent, you can speak better ans better, that's all,

I think I am hardly to chat with the Mori in New Zealand, coz some times i can't understand what they are talking about~~~~~

Depends on how you see the term "accent." :)

For example, I would LOVE to have an English accent. It just sounds cool IMHO. :)

But seriously in regards to the question, I speak with a perfect Canadian accent.
