請說說被歧視的經驗...

I know this thread is kinda unsavory, but I am very eager to commiserate with people who are discriminated against.

However you deny it, racist mentality against Chinese does exist in many societies.

In America, the pejorative form of "Chinese" is chink...

Back when I couldn't speak a word of English(N years ago) I had the unfortunate opportunity to answer a call (probably from telemarketing)... here goes

"Hello"
"#$#%)((^%()&+^&)+&^)&+^)"
"I am sorry, I can't speak English"
"Garbage"
"(hung up)"

It was the most humiliating experience for me.

没有被歧視, 我在纽西兰~

few days ago, my friend saw an American restaurant was hiring while he read the newspaper, then he made a phone call before he went there for an application. Whoever answer the phone did said that they are hiring. But when my friend get there in about half an hour asking for an application, they said they are not hiring now. We wait in the car see if some else are try to get the application. Few minutes later a white dude went there are come out with an application.

yup, although i havnt been despised, the problem is exist.
the other thing we cant deny is a number of Chinese do discriminate against black people...

i agree with u, my parents say that most of da people who break da law are from that areas,,,hh

discrimination exist everywhere...
just like in hk.. many ppl dont like ppl from china... they discriminate them...
just as the white discrminate the african americans... ~_~


btw... for restaurants... idont think they'll ever want to employ a chinese.... no matter how good ur english are...
just like we dont want to employ americans in normal restaurants in china...
see things both ways ~~

比起其他種族所受的歧視,中國人所受的歧視不算多

one example:
因為有太多chinese做電子工程,
IC(Integrated Circuit) 已被一些racist 改為(Indian & Chinese)

其实歧视原本就是哪儿都有
咱国内不也有嘛
大部分城市里的人都瞧不起农村的
甚至有些上海人认为即使娶了个北京人也是娶了个乡巴佬
这东西如果不是特别严重以至影响到你日常生活的话没有必要去理会
你看在美国Canadian=stupid是非常通用的说法
我也没看到多少加拿大人在那边儿脸红脖子粗的争什么
因为只是说说没有对你做什么
你出了往后该说American=stupid以外
还能怎么办呢
人家的自由嘛
