well... the thing is that.....
there is no direct cable link between us and china....
infact.. there is not many direct links to china...
except from the countries nearby it (i think)
thus... when u send a file to china...
it will have to go through many routers...
thus can be slow.. depending on where the data needs to pass through....
this is normally the case for ftp...
or... maybe it's just that the link to china..... is based on a single or poor cable line... thus... speed is very limited.....
or.... maybe China is just not being nice and have restrictions on the speed between itself and external countries?
frankly... i just dont know.....
but if u try HTTP send or get...
the speed should be ok... :P
sometimes, it's just your isp that is limiting the speed between you and countries far away......
